    – A small, flexible rod placed under the skin of the upper arm that provides up to 3 years of continuous protection

Hormonal Methods

  • Birth control pills (combined estrogen-progestin and progestin-only/mini-pill)
  • Contraceptive patch
  • Vaginal ring (NuvaRing or Annovera)
  • Depo-Provera (birth control shot) – administered in our office every 3 months
